Here is a trio of recent commissions done by UK artist John Watson:

This one is based on an old Men's Adventure Magazine cover.

This one is based on Wood's Classic CAPTAIN SCIENCE #4 = with a classic 50's movie monster thrown in!

And this one is also based on a classic Men's mag cover!

I have not posted any recent Original Suicide Squad commissions of late - I hope you enjoy them!

This piece is by Neil Vokes and was inspired by the creature in my favorite Hammer film - THE ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN.

Can you id the semi-classic bronze age cover that inspired this piece?

X-Men 140?

That's a BINGO! Your no-prize is on its way.

Just put up the first piece to my new commission theme: Grave Matters. It basically features a character near the tombstone of another character, friend or foe, that was significant to said character, with the art provided by an artist significant to said character. My first one is, for me, an obvious choice, but one I still hope folks find enjoyable. The image is below, but I suggest clicking this link, as you'll get my personal insights on the piece, as well as some interesting additional images, too. Can't wait to see what future installments of the theme will bring. Enjoy, everyone! :)

Yeah I posted it on Tumblr to show it to Neil, figuring he would reblog it. Glad he did!

Ah so that's you....cool.

Thanks, it's a kick to see that Neil liked it.

Thank you.

My first year ever (in 30+ years of collecting) getting any commissions or sketches done. No big purchase items but I was really happy with a few this year.

Hellboy meets Bob Howard, Plumber of the Unknown by Dan Dougherty.

Lone Wolf & Cub by Gabriel Bautista.

I am a big Lone Wolf & Cub fan, next 2 are also by Dan Dougherty. I really dig his style. The 1st one with the baby cart is my favorite thing I picked up this year.
