Tom -- Great looking #24...you can even tell it's a "BOOK" at the bottom left and not an "OOK" with a miswrap...

Also, your *other* new FF will be on the way next week... :shy:

Dr. X, those are nice copies...worth slabbing? Only you can tell, but two great covers and issues.

I am just trying to figure out the white circle behind Sue. I have seen it before on other books like FF 12. Does any body know the reason for the printing error?

Damn!!!! (worship)

My raw copy doesn't have that...did you call for notes that stated this was a production flaw? :gossip: btw...nice copy!

I did this awhile back for ASM 1-100...listing the most difficult books according to the Census in high grade...9.0+ (blue label only)

So here's 1-50 for now...I'll follow up with 51-102...the Kirby Run...

Issues 1, 2, 4-9, 11, 12, 29, 34, 37, 40 and 4.9 have no issues in 9.8)

Tom, can you clarify the columns in your list.

Is the first number the issue or # 9.8's ?

The first number is the issue. The last number is the total number of books 9.8 through 9.0. Each issue will have then either 4 or 5 numbers in between...the ones with only 4 numbers dictates there are no 9.8s.

Again happy to email the spreadsheet to anyone who PMs me...will be posting the remaining 51-102 shortly...

I did call in the notes for the dot and they call it a stain. It just looks consistent to the the coloring near Sue, so I would assume that it arrived during the printing of the book. (shrug)

Here's Census toughest in HG 1-102...if anyone knows how I can cut and paste the actual excel spreadsheet into here PM me any tips...THX! (thumbs u

Obviously some books have lower numbers because they're not as popular submissions as other books (90 and 101 jump out) and conversely the most popular books have more possibilities for hg as more books being submitted...clearly the numbers for 48 and 59 suggest warehouse or file finds...

55 has the only book in 9.9 out of all 1-102 so I lumped that into the 9.8 category (1 in 9.9 and 2 in 9.8)...

Hi use the code tag(looks like a number sign) paste in between the start and end will at least make it produce columns. You may have to delete some extra white spaces if numbers look a bit out of alignment.

9.8	9.6	9.4	9.2	9	TOTAL
1	1	4	2	1	8
3	1	1	1	4	7	14
