Yeah I really hate when that happens. I did a search "Fantastic Four CGC" and it came up.

He ought to get the book back, CORRECT the typo, and rerun the auction...

Lucky for him it didn't hurt the final price tag. That would be like a :tonofbricks:

Yeah, he did fine.

Been awhile since I've seen a #6 with pages like that... :takeit:

The colors on that book are absolutley amazing. And such a tough cover to find in the higher grades. Congrats on that book. I just have to bow down to it.

Received this awhile ago but I've never posted it in this thread. I was hoping for a 9.2 but apparently the light creasing along the top edge (which can't really be seen in the first pic) was enough to bring it down a grade.

Here it is pre-slabbing.

Good lord, that's some insanely nice centering on that issue which is almost always set with the front wrapping to the back...REALLY nice copy there! :applause: The issue is so readily available due it being a part of a warehouse find, but even given that, it took me many, many years to find the two copies of the issue I have with perfect wrap...it seems like only 1 in 5 or 10 of the issue has a nice wrap. :ohnoez:

My FF 48 is the first perfectly-wrapped 9.6/9.8 copy I've ever seen for sale in ten years of looking. With the large population of them out there I was somewhat hesitant to go for one with off-white pages, but that doesn't matter to me personally at all and I got it at a discount I'm guessing specifically because off the ow pages, so I'm happy with it. :cloud9:
