I would like to make one other point that I haven't seen in this thread. I know that when several good Board members took the evidence of Ewert's pressing and developed a list of books that Ewert sold on eBay and published that list on these Boards, and contacted eBay buyers to alert them to the information on these boards, they did not get the thanks that they deserved. At least one good friend got sued by Ewert.

Steve I have been meaning to ask this and excuse me if you already touched on this in another post but can you provide more specifics on the nature of the lawsuit? Red Hook has provided a lot of information on the NOD boards but doesn't seem to be concerned about a potential lawsuit, or at least it appears to be the case, what is different with your friend's situation? Just trying to get a better understanding of situation and perhaps CGC's mindset/reasoning as to why they won't address this issue. \(thumbs u

I wouldn't be surprised if fear of litigation is the reason CGC doesn't publicly release the information. Maybe some of the lawyers on the boards could chime in about this possibility. It's just a big guess on my part.

At this point, most litigation, positive or negative -- is really out of reach in most jurisdictions. The SOL has run in Florida for things stemming from the original incident. But I'm sure CGC would like to avoid any unnecessary legal entanglements. So long as they stay to their conduct, it's unlikely any legal action is going to occur. I'm not going to say anything regarding Ewert's original suit. I was one of the named parties but was dismissed. Eventually, the whole lawsuit was just dropped.
