That is true that Schmell put that JIM book through CGC again and it came out blue, but it was before the whole Ewert scandal blew up and CGC supposedly caught onto the style of micro trimming that was occurring. Not exactly the test that you're looking for.
So wrong.
Schmell was advised by both Scott Bonner and Brent Moeshlin that the JIM was a Ewert book and that he needed to have it checked by CGC.
That is why his decision to have it walked-thru the very next day, without declaring its origins, was so underhand.
