Jim I agree, even their statement about not sharing how they can detect trimming on a chat board because it might be used for dubious purposes doesn't make sense to me? Will they have demonstrations at Cons to educate people? If that is the case how long do you think it will take before someone posts a thread in the restoration section of these boards to discuss, share and educate collectors [and with honorable intentions mind you] on how to identify and protect themselves when buying raw books, a day? The logic just doesn't wash with me. Why is the Ewart list being withheld? I'm sure there is an official answer out there somewhere to this question that makes even less sense.
