One post per person within the thread, for a single "booth" for a seller.
Saturday, the VCC goes until midnight EDT Saturday, 12 PM EDT-10 PM Sunday, June 10. The weekend closing times are "soft" times - booths can remain open, but sellers are only required to answer their booths during the official show times. Sellers can "close" their booths early if they want, but NO PRESHOW SELLING of items in your booth. PMs prior to the open may only be honored 15 minutes after the beginning of the VCC. This gives those who get their PMs in at the beginning of the VCC first priority while still allowing users that cannot attend the opening a chance to buy books that remain unsold.
All sales must be honored.
Books for sale in the Virtual Comic Con can ONLY be in that thread, no place else.
Either a thumbnail or a link to a book, not large scans.
Responses only through PMs, NOT "I'll take it" signs. Seller is responsible for updating his/her own post.
Other sales threads are welcome and encouraged, but only one post per person within the thread to start with. The Virtual Comic Con main thread will be pinned to the top of the Convention Hall, individual sellers threads will be below.
"Booths" can be updated throughout the event by sellers, but ONLY within their own post.
NO limit on the length of the post - you can have 10,000 items in there, if you so desire. Note that there are limits to the amount of data you can have IN a post, so please be careful. If you go over the limit, feel free to open a "parking lot" thread - but no cheating, please.
Absolutely NO discrimination against whoever wants to post items. Anybody who wants to post, please do so.
We'd prefer that people set up their "booths" ahead of time, so everybody knows who is in the VCC.
You can sell anything even remotely comic related. Books, toys, games, movie posters, original art. whatever. This is an old-school comic show. No non-CGC encapsulated books.
Off-topic posts within the Shared Thread will be PMed to delete their post to keep the thread clean.
Please note the Charity Auctions throughout the VCC. They will each have their own individual threads.
Note that Macintosh users may have a problem using Firefox - this has to to with Photobucket. Using Safari, Camino, or Internet Explorer will alleviate the problem.
"Moderators" for this event are FlyingDonut and sckao. Please address all questions/concerns to one of us.
You do not need to "stay by your computer" the entire time. It would be nice to be there at the beginning of the VCC however. Just check in from time to time.
Thanks everybody for your patience. Let's have a fun show!
Note that BUYERS AND SELLERS HAVE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR TRANSACTIONS. We will not resolve disputes, and purchases and sales are done at your own risk.
