I didn't realize this about the Cadillac & Dinosaurs animated show.

 

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (TV series)

 

The show is available in the US through the instant video retailer Amazon Video, and in Canada through the streaming video service Shomi. On June 19th, 2015, the entire series was made available for free viewing through the Nelvana Retro channel on YouTube.[4] In addition, the series has aired for many years on HBO Family in Latin America, where the episodes can be viewed dubbed in Spanish or in their original English.

Too big and difficult to lug home north by train.

I think you are right, in that the cover art was changed in converting these to Spanish.

 

Xenozoic Tales #1 released by Planeta DeAgostini on October 1999

 

I found a Spanish-speaking forum where these pages are also posted.

 

Xenozoic Tales - Fiuxy

 

And in using Google Translator, I found a distributor.

After watching the 2005 version of King Kong with the boys over the weekend, it got me giddy for what a Xenozoic Tales movie could look like with CGI we have today. I sure hope that happens one of these days. Would be an incredible visual to watch on the big screen.

I would actually love to see XT made into a quality animation film in the lines of Fire & Ice. F&I is the only animation movie I can still watch to this day and enjoy. So surprised that no one ever attempted to make a good adventure movie with quality animation like that. Especially now with 3D this could be a great adaptation at a relatively low cost.
