The CW To Re-Run Entire Invasion! Crossover on Back To Back Nights

dc-tv-shows-invasion-crossover-opening-title-sequence-214427.jpg

If you missed it the first time around (although ratings suggest almost nobody did), The CW will be re-running the entire four-night Invasion! crossover event on January 9-12 in the 8 p.m. time slot.

Obviously, Supergirl's episode -- "Medusa" -- was the show's midseason finale and thus only tangentially related to Invasion!, the kind of story that would be tagged "Invasion! - PRELUDE!" in the comics. The episode titles for The Flash, Arrow, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow are all "Invasion!"

A Younger Version Of STAR WARS Director George Lucas Has Been Cast For LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 2

With Rip Hunter now working as a director in 1967 Los Angeles, the mid-season premiere will see him cross paths with the heroes as the latest aberration sees the young filmmaker decide to quit film school. Why does that matter? Well, while it may not sound like a big deal, it has a huge impact on the lives of Citizen Steel and The Atom.

"Because of circumstances, the time aberration in episode 209 is George Lucas quits film school," executive producer Marc Guggenheim reveals in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly. "As a result, he never makes Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark. As a result, Ray, who became an engineer because of Star Wars, and Nate, who became a historian because of Raiders, slowly start to lose their brilliance, because those things that inspired them to become who they are didn’t exist."

Matt Angel (Grimm) has been cast as the young Lucas, and you can bet your life that we'll be getting a lot of Star Wars jokes here!

who is 6?

This is Ma Hunkel. She was a Golden Age superhero named Red Tornado. Her signature look was longjohns and a metal pot, as seen in the image above. She was a working mother who donned the Red Tornado moniker to fight crime in her city. In the New 52 she is younger, but still wears the helmet to protect her identity. A live-action version of her character was seen in “Smallville” season 11, as Abigail Hunkel, one of the last surviving members of the original Justice Society of America.

I've not been keeping up with the series. Have they suggested Ma Hunkel will make an appearance...!?!

During early marketing, the show leads were hinting there would be appearances over time of characters associated with objects displayed. One that led to some fan guessing was Brandon Routh wearing a helmet.

Yes, That's S.T.R.I.P.E.'s Helmet on DC's Legends of Tomorrow

During a visit to the set of The CW's Frequency, Set Decorator Matthew Versteeg -- who worked on Legends of Tomorrow last year -- revealed to ComicBook.com that the helmet was in fact the head of S.T.R.I.P.E., custom-built by DC Entertainment in California to adorn Rip Hunter's time lab on board the Waverider.

Some fans had speculated that the helmet belonged to S.T.R.I.P.E., the armored identity of Pat Dugan, originally the World War II hero Stripesy, but as the helmet was a hybrid of a few designs rather than a carbon copy of a specific S.T.R.I.P.E. look, it wasn't a sure thing. Other popular theories included Orion, the son of Darkseid.

Thanks (thumbs u

If they bring in Ma Hunkel, they better make sure Supergirl doesn't stop by for a guest appearance. We all remember what happened the last time she met a Red Tornado ;)

And now the reason for the Camelot/3000 -script.

THE LEGENDS Join The Round Table In Stills From LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 2 Episode 12 'Camelot/3000'

This time, the Legends make their way to ancient Camelot to team-up with the legendary King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. The CW has released six promotional stills from the episode, giving us our first look at the team dressed for their medieval adventure. We also get to see Sara chatting up Guinevere and Arthur holding Stargirl captive, possibly under the order of Damien Darhk?

They do know that Camelot wasn't real, right?

Now come on. You know one day in our greatest need, Stonehenge will light up and from its center the earth will part and from the ground Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table will come riding out.

I read that in The Onion. So it must be true!
