Here's a promo printed by Superior Comics. Anybody know if Superior produced any other promos?

Paul seems to have lost a lot of height from the front cover to the back cover, or else that's a really big box of oats. hm

I like the way he seems to be watching with amusement the lumberjack on the tree. Instead of helping him out, he is waiting to see him learn the hard lesson of bad logging technique.

A couple notable recent promo comic sales...

None of these are mine...

From Roller To Bowler
This sold on eBay for $129. Very tough book to find and this copy, even though rough, was desirable for the Acme Billiard Supply imprint from 1953 LA, CA.

Teach Ye All Nations
This sold on Heritage for $777. Very tough book to find. From the collection of the late Phil Levine.

Famous Fairy Tales 1942
Sold by Heritage for $1135. Again from Phil's collection.

Hey Boot. Ever thought of doing a book on give-a-ways? I'd buy it!

I think Craig Yoe is working on one now.

I hope it happens.  Seems as if a lot of these aren't listed in Overstreet, or anywhere else as far as I know.

Kind of reminds me of this one (apparently published in 1952 -- hence the all-white cast).

Blissard seems to have a set of 20 to 30  promos that he sells regularly.  I love the dagwood splits the atom with the black cover

I have a copy of that one.  Like many promos, I think it was a warehouse find.
