new cgc case question

Sorry if this has already been brought up but i have noticed on all of my new cgcs that the oil spots are terrible on these new slabs. Is this just me or do others notice it as well?

Don't talk about the new case! Its blasphemy. Everything is perfect!

Are you referring to the new case or the new new case? (With or without the inner well)

It's the new new cases. I just got almost 50 books back.

About 60% had a good amount of newton.

I only sent 10 back that were horrendous though.

Won't be submitting anymore for awhile.

It never left.

That is how all of my new ones look like. i heard years ago that you could take some paper and slide it in to get rid of the spots but i couldnt get that to work on the older slabs much less the newer ones.

Please keep this quiet for now. CGC simply doesn't have enough oil to do every slab like that and people are upset when their neighbors slabs get more Newton particles then theirs.

Just count your blessings and listen to church approved music.

Newton rings don't bother me that much, but the new cases are fragile as heck. Iv'e had a lot of slabs mailed to me show up cracked or fractured. Their reholdering program must be booming.
