I said that a couple of months ago to screw around... then I started to consider it but did not think they would actually do it.

Bam, nailed it. Except the hand part but that trailer sure made it look to be what was going down

That was nothing compared to "watch the flowers"

Yeah, it was gory but didn't have the same emotional impact. Not to me anyway

Here's a thought. It might have had more impact if they had freaking done it when it should have been done, in the season finale. But yeah, I didn't really feel that much cause I was a little too focused on who's going to get it that I didn't care that much when they did.

I thought Negan was gonna make Rosita lick the bloody bat after caving that first skull in

That is in the R rated version.

I was hoping he would take Rosita Daryl and add her him to his harem.

That's what Daryl is for. lol

i don't watch the show. would someone spoil it for me?

Negan kills Abraham to teach them all a lesson. But then due to Daryl getting up and punching him, he kills Glenn as an additional measure. But not before toying with him after whacking him one time directly on the top of his head.

It was a really rough episode. I can see why they said this will be a game-changer season.

Scott Gimple Says Next Week's The Walking Dead Will Be Funny

On the 90-minute long Talking Dead recap show, hosted by Chris Hardwick, that followed the premiere, showrunner Scott Gimple revealed that next Sunday's episode — titled "The Kingdom, directed by Greg Nicotero, and 76-minutes long — will be filled with humor.

"It is funny," Gimple revealed to the lively crowd at the Hollywood Forever Graveyard. "It's actually funny after the episode you just saw." 10:34 "There is a tiger. There is King Ezekiel."

"The Kingdom" episode of The Walking Dead will air Sunday, October 30 at 9/8c on AMC.

After that first episode, it would be a temporary relief.

The dialogue and visual imagery with that was word-for-word, event-for-event straight out of the comic minus an f-bomb.

Yeah, the violence in this issue was over the top and unnecessary. Makes me want to quit watching, even though I probably won't. The Glenn thing was just ridiculous.

I mean seriously, is this the kind of thing anyone needs to be watching.

It's pretty spot on with how the comic book showed it (Glen's death at least) so why not just follow the comic book -script. TV audiences more squeamish then comic book fans?

The realism was just sickening to me. I don't enjoy watching real videos of people getting killed and I really didn't enjoy this episode. For me, it was just like an episode of Game of Thrones where this huge brute of a guy crushes this other guy's head with his bear hands. It was a scene that I cannot "un-see". Brutal.

Torture porn. I thought it was disgusting especially for prime time.

I wonder if Negan was paying overtime to his voiceless henchmen who had to listen to him prattle on all night with the odd head bashing thrown in. Seriously, how does someone like this become a leader? He knows who the 2 strongest males are, so let's keep them alive... yup.
