Is it an over-guide book, or are all WWII Action covers over-guide books?

Probably both, but the 'slap a Jap' cover seems to attract more of a premium.

I know I want one for my war bonds collection, but can't find one that presents well at a price I'm prepared to pay.

Anyone got a PLOD or GLOD they want to sell?

Metro has a beater on their site. They say it's a VG- but it looks more like a G to me. At 33% off, it's a mere $663.25.

It is an over-guide book, and most Action war covers are. Here's my copy. Owned it for more than a decade, and have no plans to part with it.

They changed it since this evening...they lowered the grade and lowered the price...

Right. At the time I posted last night, they had it as VG- for $663. Apparently in the next hour or so (in response to this thread?) they lowered the grade and the price.

I never owned a copy. I've bid on multiple books. Always lost out.

I don't need a Boardwalk copy, I'd settle for Mediteranean Ave....maybe Baltic, anyway....

I'm with you.  Any copy would be a good one for me at this point.  When I asked Harley about that price, he said he had paid a lot for the copy and wasn't making much of a profit. 

I actually fished a great book out of one of Harley's boxes at WonderCon that was WAY under priced. Hard to get the best of the Yeester but it can be done.
