A recent acquisition, Crime Does Not Pay #25 from January 1943.

 

I would never go so far as to say Wertham was right, but some of these pre-code comics certainly did push the limits.

Great book! CDNP #24 gets all the love but #25 and this one are real tough and not bad either.

Have always loved the cover on this one. Never seen an interior shot. Nice!
