Nice! Here’s a version with background from 1973 SFCA portfolio. My memory is buying it new ($3) at SD Con in Grant Hotel and immediately running up to Ray Bradbury and having a great time ogling together…

I think I still have 2 or 3 copies of that book. That's a nice one for sure.

If you wish real hard you can pretend that is actually 1928 Buck on the cover instead of Doc Smith's guy up there.

Thanks Bob - the front cover is lovely but the book has a strip of foxing on the back cover which keeps it from high grade. Still, what an amazing issue!
