For me though, it was never really about bondage and S & M, but rather the idea that I could be the hero. As a kid I would run around pretending I was Tarzan and I was rescuing Jane by swinging through the trees and calling the animals in to assist.

To me these books call back to a different time when the comics appealed to a boy to be the hero and even if the women are strong and able to get out of the situation themselves, there is nothing wrong with a guy wanting to help and come to the rescue.

OK, now that my politically correct justification is over - show me some chicks strapped to rockets!

My first candidate is probably the last book I will ever sell, should I ever sell all my comics. It is probably the nicest (or one of) golden age books I have ever had and it is definitely one of my favorite WIP covers of all-time
