Non-Four Color Dells

Wow, I haven't started a thread in years ... but though we have a nice long Four Color thread, we have no Dell dedicated thread and that's a shame.

Here are a couple of Indian Chiefs I picked up at the recent Baltimore Con.

The main attraction to the late Indian Chief books is the back-up feature (not uncommon for those Dell to have better back-ups than the main feature ...) Red Wing, Son of Chief. It gets an odd plug on the cover of # 32 -

I remember as a kid, I didn't find the Tarzan stories particularly interesting, but I really liked the backup "Brothers of the Spear" stories.

Cool covers! I love those Dell painted covers, although the one above looks like it was designed with a dual purpose to be used as a Turok cover in a pinch.
