The Adams variant was solicited late, if I recall, so it makes sense if the orders were lower on it. I would imagine that stores will correct for it with the rest of the variants if needed.

I don't think it was solicited late. The image of the book was shown later but the book itself was solicited at the same time as cover A, so maybe shops held out on the Adams cover until they saw it.

My mistake. I thought it was solicited later.

Holding out until an image is finally posted is the smart way to go. I learned that the hard way with past bulk spec buys that are sitting in long boxes in my basement. :tonofbricks:lol

I just picked up a Cover B ( Adams ) of 157 from my LCS

Looks even nicer in hand.

I think I'll get a set of 9.8's of these. They will look awesome.

Was 157 under-ordered? Are you guys all seeing sell outs in your local area?

My main comic shop was out of both covers when I got there (an hour after they opened on Wednesday)

My secondary shop was out of the Adams cover

So here's the photos from Cynthiana the other day. Pulling up Google Maps may help a little bit. Comic Book World, 3 of the Collectible Etc's, and the Lexington Comic Con were set up, various other vendors, and a ton of zombies.

Here's part of what I would later find out to be Kirkmans line. This was at the Church and Pike street. First United Methodist Church in the background.

the Cynthiana book i received was in perfect shape- the people handing them out must have been extra gentle in the humidity- its funny to see all the books selling on ebay have the street as the background- it was probably an interesting sight to see- 100s of simultaneous outdoor ebay listings!

the comic looks awesome! i dont think they are going to be too hard to acquire in the long run-

Everyone Ive talked to that went had a blast! Good job everyone that worked hard in that heat! Kentucky weather is always a treat~! (that rhymed!)

Was looking through some long boxes at my LCS this evening and came across a bunch of back issues. High 20s up to around the 70s with skipping some in between. Most were marked around $20 with a few around $30 and I saw 33, first print I'm pretty sure, for $60 in there, too.

Didn't really see anything I would consider a 9.8, newb at grading, with most issues having around 5 or so spine ticks that didn't break color. Been thinking about heading back down there on Friday and going through all of them and seeing if I could work out something with them for them all. It seems like there was around 20 issues or so. Also found another stash that had issues around 105 up to current.

Wasn't expecting that first part at all. The Whisperers have been a spooky, memorable group but I don't see how their tactics can keep holding up to the superior firepower of rifles. So far, they're a much smaller and therefore, a much more militarily limited group than I was expecting.
