Then maybe it was someone he lent his ID to? I believe someone else used that as an excuse once.

Do we need an approved list of abbreviations if you can't be bothered to type out the entire title name? ASM is one thing. Does everyone know what SM or FP is? Is the 5 seconds required to type out the title simply too much hassle?

You seem to be the perfect individual to head up this endeavor.

the one most ultimately harmed is the seller. Maybe make millions of dollars per year, and whether or not they sell a few comics means less to them than the time it takes to type.

Maybe not the best selling tactic, but no one is required to use the best selling tactics, or people wouldn't sell hundred and thousand dollar books for sale without pictures, when this is clearly a visual-oriented hobby. Or put 50 to a hundred books in a single post making it nearly impossible to navigate (and yes I get that they save time that way) or sometimes load, but what can you do.

The flip side of this is the annoyance at the guy who feels the need to tell someone facts about a book that everyone in the market for said book already knows.

The thread title is something like:

"FOR SALE: AMAZING FANTASY #15 THE VERY FIRST APPEARANCE OF SPIDER-MAN, THEY ALSO MADE SEVERAL ANIMATED TV SHOWS ABOUT HIM, AND A BUNCH OF MOVIES, OH...AND IT'S PUBLISHED BY MARVEL...ALSO FIRST APPEARANCE OF AUNT MAY AND (SPOILERS: DEATH OF) UNCLE BEN."

SM = Small Manhood

FP = Foster Penguins

SM = Smelly Mudflaps
