Why is that copy of Fantastic 3 coming in only at a CGC grade of 0.5 Poor?

I assume the book must be missing something that is not obvious from just a front cover scan since it presents much better than a 0.5 Poor copy.

For a classic cover book like this, it would be much harder to live without a front cover.

I hope Lou wasn't responsible for the costume's on these characters? They look like something our of a DC Christmas party in the 40's and 50's.
