Here is a random page from my story which could be called "Five Sweet Boys from Toronto Go to New York" but I opted for "Tower of the Comic Book Freaks". Here we see our five sweeties walking through Times Square in 1971.

I always love this thread.

My lettering is done by hand.

I sent off Chapter One, the first 27 pages to Caliber Entertainment on April 20th. The second chapter is just about ready and I hope to have it off this weekend. I will put another page or two up.

Not a comic style picture, but my second oil painting. I try to get better... and I wish I could

visit an academy. I have 10K now - still need around 50-60K :(

It's not easy without somebody who learns you the tricks..

I'm toying around with trying to draw/ink/color all in photshop with a wacom intuos 2.

I find it incredibly difficult to match the inking even remotely close to a real pen inking process. The lines are difficult to draw straight, clean, and precise -- and going back and forth between the tablet and monitor there seems to be a loss of hand eye coordination or something. If anyone knows inking tutorials with that setup please let me know.. I think it would be a lot easier drawing and inking right on the screen (like they do with clintiq)-- but too expensive right now.
