If I ever run into copies of these two what's a good market value in decent shape, say VG to up to Fine?

 

Two of the highest demand Shadows...in the VG to F range you're probably looking at $400 to $800 each.

Why own so many different copies of the same issue(s)?

For most books one is all I want. But for these particular issues, my favorites, I like having multiples. But only it they're nice copies. I pass on lots of lower grade ones.
