I have apparently spent too much time focusing on drinking while in bars rather than playing video games. Darts occasionally, pool sometimes, but it had not occurred to me to play video games.

I use my singles on another pitcher of beer or the G-string of the dancers. I generally don't think to stick them in a change machine & break them down into quarters for video game or pinball machines.

I enjoy drinking in bars. I also enjoy not paying for drinks. Hence the Galaga skill. (thumbs u

Fat Dutchies was a cool store. The owner (Chuck?) was a good guy who had obvious health problems.

golden tee = golf arcade game - played with a trackball.

very addicting - there is a networked version of the game that people can play for money now (online tournaments) - and there were ( probably still are) - local tournaments held in bars

Gary - (post his comic shop days) - worked as marketing director for the company that designed the game.

I do not know him personally - but looking over some of the news releases, I would say that Moondog knows the game pretty well - and was more than a little responsible for the popularity of the game and the contests that resulted from it.

An interweb search would have shed light on the whole golden tee phenomenon

I had never heard of it either.

But there's a lot of stuff I don't know.
