Don't think I've seen that book in person before, she's a beauty (even with the corner piece off).

Thanks...after all these years it's hard to remember where the corner piece went.

As they were all stacked on top of each other in a bookcase...pulled out and reread,

they really didn't receive the best of care. And then there were all those years in

boxes.

As I've mentioned before, Sundays were always special...my Father would take me to

the Train Station and I would get to select a comic from The UNION NEWS Counter.

I remember how pleased I was to find this one since I had just heard BLACKSTONE

on the radio. The UNION NEWS always had comics I couldn't find elsewhere.

Here's another number one that I spent time searching for a number two...that

would never exist.

Who cares Marty. Just the fact that your books only cost you a dime each and you held on to them all these years amazes us most!

While going through my copies of COMIC CAVALCADE I ran across this

JOHNNY PERIL story which I don't even remember reading before.

I've had it since 1943 and it's really rough...but it's a great comic!

Did you buy this off the rack.?

Yes...from the newsroom on Bloomfield Avenue in Newark.
