vintage book w/ date stamp on reverse 0

i recently purchased a captain america 100 (6.0), and noticed on the back there is a date stamp.

 

i did a little research on those, as i haven't purchased many vintage books, but i was curious how much that effects the overall grade?

 

any opinion on the matter is welcome

yeah i never even noticed it on the auction until i received the book. its discrete, and placed in the top right corner. pretty cool.

9.8 NM/MT....as this grade verges on MINT....and a date stamp would be put on the book AFTER it left the PRINTER (printer=mint, IOW).....it may effect the grade.

 

But since NM/MT is a split grade, I could see a well placed date stamp not effecting the grade.

 

9.6 NM+.....no issue there, IMHO.

I've received 9.8's with a date stamp on the front cover. Silver Age .

What is the exact date of the stamp. Curious

I had one with more than one date stamp.  It must have lowered the grade if it was in the graders notes

Though not considered in the grade, some of us consider it a bonus, adds to the vintage aura of the book.
