Just some pieces I picked up recently.

Nice book. I absolutely loved these reprint books as a kid. They were the only way to learn what happened in early Timely/Marvel. No eBay or comic book stores and the only collectors were young teens like oneself. Understanding the history of a company, book or hero was quite the amateur historian's job.

In the spirit of nostalgic reprint books, these two are new to the collection in the sense that I just unslabbed and scanned both.

The first is an 8.5 (reposted for comparison) and the second is a 9.4.

Absolutely. This cover had me from the get go and I wanted to learn more about the golden era of Marvel ever since. When I was a kid it was all about SA/BA stuff and GA books were non-existent [or at least from my perspective]. I think I snagged this for only $84 too.
