Hey TWD fans!

I attended a signing tonight at a local NYC shop for the release of "The Private Eye" hard cover by the crew from PanelSyndicate.com (Bryan K Vaughn, Marcos Martin, Muntsa Vicente). As you may or may not know, "The Private Eye" is a digital comic by BKV and Martin that was never going to be printed but, as the story goes, Robert Kirkman and Image really wanted to print it. BKV and Kirkman made an agreement, if Image can print The Private Eye then BKV can write a Walking Dead story for his Digital only website, Panel Syndicate. I ask about the project and they offered the following information.

1 - It will be available early next year.

2 - It will be written by Bryan K Vaughn with art and lettering by Marcos Martin.

3 - It will be in Black and White (bummer Vicente won't be coloring it)

4 - It will take place in the current time line and with current characters.

5 - It will be approximately 23-24 pages but Martin spoke up and said he is thinking of adding more pages.

6 - It will be presented in the website's wide screen formatting for easy reading on iPads and computers, etc.

7 - An announcement "approved by Kirkman" (they joked) is coming soon.

I'm personally hoping for a Negan story, maybe an origin story!
