Do you have any funny animal books with Hitler covers? If you had seen one as a kid, what would you have thought of it? In today's environment they seem outrageous, but I guess back then they were par for the course?

I don't believe I ever had any Funny Animal Comics with Hitler on the cover...but I will

check it out. I'm sure there must have been some as Hitler was such a hated figure in

those days.

Another favorite cover.

 

 

"The ruthless leaders of Aquatis, underwater city demand slave labor..." and BLUE BEETLE

must save the earth. When out of the water the people of Aquatis must wear water-filled

helmets. The leaders visit the "DAILY PLANET" newspaper to make their demands.

I remember reading about this issue but was unable to find it on the newsstand,

so I wrote to Fables Publishing Co. included a dime and asked them to send me

a copy...it came in a "plain brown wrapper". It might have helped that I was in

the Navy at the time.

That is neat. I think it's the only time I've seen something like that.

On this one it kind of looks like the Rabbit is holding the price oval.
