Listening to Animals again :cloud9: Parts of Pigs sound like some of the music in the video game Doom. Wouldn't surprise me if they, ahem, borrowed it for the game.

For me, the most noticable track in Doom is 'Mouth for War' by Pantera.

I didn't get that on my PC version!

I’ve played versions of Doom with two different soundtracks. First one, an extra on the X-Box's Doom : Resurrection of Evil disc, is tinny, synthesised MIDI with what sounds like bit and pieces taken from classic metal songs. The only one I remember is the Pantera track. Doom on Playstation had completely different background music, with lots of creepy, ambient, classical stuff; like listening to a choir in a gothic cathedral. Very effective, much superior.

The original PC version just has background music... a bit cheesy but it's not the same when played without it.

That's awesome! I'd never thought about it but it's like cheesy muzak versions of metal songs!

Where's that CD rom...?
