DJones
Joe Giella will be at Eternal Con next month. He inked many of the Silver Age Bat books. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8621147#Post8621147

BB-Gun
Ugh, I cant believe how bad Batman was, its an amazing transformation of what we see today compared to Golden/ Silver age. A lot of the golden age Batman stories compare very well with the current comics. In fact, the bronze age artists imitated classic golden age covers. Jerry Robinson was a much better artist than most of the current artists in my opinion.

This is such an uninformed comment… The Silver Age of DC Comics is difficult to understand, however, if you are not familiar with it. pemart1966

Hepcat
SA Batman is generally panned here. I believe there was an attempt at a SA Batman thread once, but it died fairly quickly. Well this one is like the Energizer Bunny. It won't die anytime soon.
Stevenrams
Just got this one Congrats on acquiring a Batman 121, definitely one of the major keys of the SA. I have a copy, too and looks similar to yours. Love SA Batman comics.

rsouxlja7
I've been trying to collect all of the bronze and silver age first appearances for a couple of years. I've had most of these for over a year but it took quite some time to find a nice copy of Detective 298. Finally completed this mini-collection. kimik
Looks like Batman #181 is still running up as well as #121. I take it the new Ivy on the Gotham show is the reason?
