archival boxes for long term comic storage?

I use REMOVABLE MAGIC TAPE 811. I can attest that the tape does not stick to or damage books when you F up.

Painter's tape or Post-it Tabs. The Avery labels dry up over time and will flake off and leave residue.

I discovered this after I had already used it on almost 200 books. Then I found a real old (several years) stash of unused Avery labels and they were all dried up and flaking off.

Back to either blue tape or the tuck-and-double-backboard method for me.

Weird, I haven't experienced that. I have a box of those round Avery labels that are over a decade old. Still look new.

You might try these plastic comic book "bins" but they are pricey.  I have a couple that store CGC graded books.  May buy one or two to store raw books from the link below.
