I first saw this book in the Gerber Photo Journal and knew I had to find a copy, little did I know that one day I would actually own the copy printed in the book.

 

Possibly my favourite cover of the run. Great story.

 

Yes - perhaps mine too. It would appear that black cowled Nazis work for both of us. Or, ahem, maybe its the babe in Tyrolean garb?

 

 

Anyone have a preference for another Fight cover over this one?

We can all have our favorites, definitely some great ones to choose from.

My favorite is the 32. It has the hooded nazi, a real historical landmark (castle) in background, and exploding body parts....

My 1A in this favorite Fights would be tied between 21, 24, and 37. (thumbs u

So, not many then?

Yeah, if the execution were better on this one I would have a greater fondness for it... it's hard to beat flying body parts. But it's a little too cartoony, the quality of the art isn't great, and the perspective is terrible. Don't get me wrong, given the opportunity I'd snag this sweet Church copy in a heartbeat! But I might snag a few more first.

All good choices. Hard to pick my favorite in the #30-45 range. This is my favorite Fight comic of all though.

A few more solid contenders...

Am still on the # 31 camp -

Outside of that range, I tend to forget # 27 but it does have its attractiveness -

In the early period, # 20 is probably my go-to fave -

The Planet Comics of the early 60's numbering were reprinted the most yes.

I have 5 different versions of Planet Comics 63 my favorite being this one:
