Hey Everyone!

 

I'm new to the forum and am a huge TMNT fan! I finally got ahold of a #1 First Print the other day! I also found a raw #3 NYCC Variant at the Las Vegas show and had Eastman sign it. I will post pictures once it comes back from CGC (hence the blank spot in the second picture).

 

I am looking forward to hearing from everyone.

When people eventually did the math and realized there is a very small number of Hulk #1 to go around, the prices shot up almost overnight... in every grade.

 

There are about half as many TMNT #1.

 

It's just a matter of time.

GPA Data on TMNT 1 (first print)

 

Looks like book has rebounded slightly versus the 12 month average but is still mostly flat to down versus 2 year high.

 

Given that the movie came and went with little fanfare (in terms of popularity with adults), I think these sales results are pretty good.

 

However, as an owner of multiple copies of this book, this data tells me I need to sit on my copies for awhile...

I just think they are fully priced at the moment. They are worth what they sell for, not more, not less, don't see them going up or down in any big spike in the immediate future but strong long term.
