TERRIFIC! :applause::applause::applause:

Having missed the entire Silver Age of collecting, with the exception of a few picked up at

auctions, I truly enjoy seeing scans of what was out there during those years...thanks to

all.

It's been a while since I added a book to my collection. Found this one at the recent Wizard Con in Mpls. It's a book I had been looking for, for quite a while. Second to last 10 center in the series.

Wow! Startling! Fox and the Crow comics in that condition are incredibly tough to find.

:applause:

I wonder how deep the Savannah collection was in the Fox and the Crow title?

???

.... a search of Heritage archives would yield that info.... but I would imagine the run was fairly deep.... Mr. Savannah loved him some D.C.s...... one of my bigger regrets was selling the 8.0 copy of BB 24 it was pretty. GOD BLESS...

Here are scans of a couple of comics featuring that great hero Katnip together with a pesky rodent:

Sadly though Herman and Katnip never got a title of their own.

Fantastic book, Dale!! I just love that era and Batman Sci-Fi books. They're much underrated, yet they are well-loved by collectors both old and new. Congrats on the pickup. :cloud9:

One of my favorite non-superhero titles:

Mystery in Space 17 from Dec. 1953/Jan. 1954

Another pre-code MIS: #20 from June/July 1954

And an early post-code MIS from Aug/Sept 1954. One of my favorite covers because it's free of dialogue.

Oh man! Mystery in Space deserves its reputation of being the top fifties sci-fi title of them all.
