1000000comix won an auction for $129 and 12 hours later he want to cancel becuase shipping is $16 (I ship from Spain). Shipping cost was very well indicated in the auction description, but he didn't take a few seconds to actually read the terms.

here's a new one. Buyer won a $10 book last night and got this message this evening

 

"You can relist this book. My status was showing me that I was outbid so I went ahead and found a copy from another seller even cheaper. I won t be paying for this."

I'm not defending the douchy response, but I have received an outbid notice when using my phone to bid on items, even if I'm the sole bidder.

 

 

agreed. I really don't care just thought the "i won't be paying for this" was interesting.

 

I'd still block him, if that's how he asks to be released from a contract.

I bid on something - then decided to up my bid as I am the only person bidding on it. By outbidding myself I received notification that I was outbid.

He bought a VG+ DD #13 with a tiny and light arrival date penciled on the cover, completely visible in the large scans I included, but gave me my first neg over it. From 1999 until now I had 100% feedback. I don’t sell a ton of stuff, so it will take a while for me to work my way back up from 98.8%. He did not contact me before leaving the neg. What a tool. Here’s a scan of the front (front and back included in the listing) and a link to the auction.

Contact eBay. Since you can clearly see the penciled date on the front cover in the listing I'm sure they'll remove the negative. You can't help it if the buyer is a .
