Hey G.A.tor

I hope Megacon is treating you well. So what do you think the price per point is on Supes #2 these days?

Low to mid grade about 1500 a point. Give or take. Higher grade more exponential

What is the worst book purchase you ever made?
from a financial loss frame of reference I bought a mmc7 Larson copy for 25k and only netted 13500 when I sold. I think my only 5 fig loss.

It's been with me since 2012, but Gator does get visitation privileges... ;)

The economy was still dicey in 2012 for some big ticket collectibles...

What percentage of Larson copies are completely free of both foxing and rust?

Foxing is not uncommon with Larsons, but I don't buy books with rust. The Larson MM#7 has light foxing, but with climate controlled storage it won't get any worse, and foxing isn't a contagious disease. lol

7%

Unfortunately, you are way off on this estimate. I did a careful study of this point last year and the correct number is 7.3%. :baiting:

Gator's survey applies Sherlock Holme's deductive reasoning. That's how he arrived at a 7% solution.
