New Batman Vs. Superman Banner, Logo & Title Treatments

 

Hopefully the Batman Vs. Superman trailer gets released soon, which is now speculated for next weekend's WonderCon.

 

Note the below updated logo states "Summer 2016," and it is straight from Warner Bros.

the way things are going with movies in the summer they can make sumer blockbuster start in March, April or May it they want. then again in Florida it feels like summer year round.

A twist on the old superhero versus superhero battle.

 

SPOILERS: Here's Why BATMAN And SUPERMAN End Up Fighting In DAWN OF JUSTICE

 

 

 

 

Badass Digest have spoilers which may shed some light on how the fight between these two iconic DC Comics superheroes ends up playing out on the big screen.

 

Batman v Superman is inspired - not based on - The Dark Knight Returns, but this version of the Man of Steel won't be some sort of government lackey. In fact, as was evident at the conclusion of his 2013 movie, Superman still isn't trusted by politicians and the military. Instead, it will be Lex Luthor who sends the hero to Gotham City to take down The Dark Knight! Why would he do that?

 

Well, the site [isn]'t saying, but do reveal that "it is Superman who goes to Gotham and starts the confrontation… at the behest of Lex Luthor. And unlike The Dark Knight Returns, Superman comes out swinging, pulverizing the Batmobile with one punch. Why would Superman do Lex Luthor’s bidding? What is Lex hoping to accomplish? That would be spoiling. But know that when the fight is over, Batman will be able to point to Superman and say, "He started it!"

That's Jennifer Garner...yuck. She's giving Bruce Jenner a run for his money for sure. I think he's a bit more attractive at this point.

Costume Designer Michael Wilkinson On His BATMAN And AQUAMAN Costumes

 

During the interview Wilkinson called the costume for Arthur Curry a.k.a Aquaman a "huge challenge" to reinvent. He also says that some of Aquaman's past interpretations made the hero appear less “cool” compared to his fellow Justice League members, and that "people have a lot of complaints about the orange skin and the green tights and that whole thing,"

 

The costume designer then went on to talk about Batman's costume in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and stressed the importance that the Batsuit be comfortable and flexible. "That’s actually one of the first things that Snyder mentioned to me in one of our initial meetings," Wilkinson told the site. "It’s a very important thing to Zack that the Batsuit would be comfortable and very flexible, but then would be able to perform in a very natural and forceful way. So a lot of incredible engineering went into the development of the new black cowl."
