FURIOUS 7 Director James Wan Talks THE CONJURING 2 and the Prospect of Helming a DC Superhero Movie

Steve pointed out that Warner Bros. is a studio that likes to take care of its filmmakers, and since Wan hit it off so well with The Conjuring, Steve addressed the possibility that WB may want to keep Wan in the fold to take the helm of one of their DC Comics Universe films.

“Yeah it’s weird. Continuing that family tradition, [Warner Bros. is] like that and it’s almost like they’re very old school in that respect, which you don’t see much of anymore.”

More directly, Steve asked Wan if there’s a specific DC property that he would be interested in adapting.

“Yeah, there are some that I like… I am open to all possibilities at this point.”

I guess he seemed to pull back on sharing details when this came up, which only made the interviewer more interested in what is going on behind the scenes.

Tyrese Gibson posted an image of himself as Green Lantern last night, and then the image was taken down.

Tyrese Gibson Hints That He's The New Green Lantern

The new vague evidence comes to us directly from Gibson's personal Instagram account, where the actor posted a brand new Photoshop job of him in a Green Lantern costume. But while that's rather ordinary, what's special about this particular post is the caption it comes with:

"The Oath - See you soon........"

How are we supposed to interpret that? Taken at face value, one might think that it would be a suggestion that Tyrese Gibson has indeed landed a gig as the big screen's new Green Lantern. But this could also just be another tease from the enthusiastic star. We won't be 100 percent sure what the answer is for sure until we get official word from Warner Bros., but it is interesting regardless.

Vin Diesel Says Black Bolt

Vin Diesel participated in a rapid fire QnA with Esquire where he mentions Black Bolt.

Actually, Vin Diesel mentions Black Bolt four times.

First, Vin Diesel is asked, "Superman or Batman?" with the actor replying, "Marvel."

Then he's asked between the Fox Studios Marvel characters, "Wolverine or Cyclops?"

Vin Diesel responds, "Guardians!" with a cackle noted, and then adds, "OK, Black Bolt. Black Bolt, Black Bolt, Black Bolt."

using name actors for main characters is bad news, always better to go with upcoming quality actors, over name power. Thats my biggest beef with Batfleck, the days of slapping known actors into existing characters to sell a movie is gone.

Could the Flash movie also turn out to be a hit.

CONFIRMED: Phil Lord And Chris Miller Developing THE FLASH Movie For Warner Bros.

Deadline reports that Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are working on a story for Warner Bros.' planned big screen adaptation of The Flash. As of right now, it's only a story treatment that the duo are developing and the site points out that they are not yet attached to direct. It could be that they just come up with a story for the studio to then enlist another writer or they might write the -script themselves.

Would this mean that they're going for Wally West as the Flash instead of Barry Allen?

Moon Knight?

Maybe and good choice.

But how about Hulk?

This way they circumvent the Universal distribution deal.

Black Widow or Hawkeye could be interesting; I'd prefer a Hulk movie

Furious 7 was way over the top. The reason its making so much money is due to Paul Walkers death. It was a very nice tribute the film makers gave him.

Having seen the whole series a few times 1 and 5 remain the best and I believe the series peaked with 5.

The Furious flims become more over the top and ridiculous with each entry and you definitely need to leave your brain outside.

However Furious 7 is better then Iron Man 3.
