Going through my box of remainder comics made me think about buying

these issues to read, with very little concern about the missing third

of the cover...who knew that all these years later this missing portion

would mean anything.

I have over 50 "tragedies" and yes they were 5-cents each.

Nice Weird Science! Don't seal it up in a plastic tomb! Read it over and over again. And you paid a dime for it? Wow!

When giving as a gift, it presents better encapsulated.

At the same time I bought the WEIRD SCIENCE I picked this one up...spent a total

of 20-cents that day.

I remember that stores had different ways of displaying their magazines and comic

books...this one store which carried a very limited variety of comics, usually only

one or two of a title, would display them in the side window attached to a line with

clothes pins...that's where I spotted one of my all time favorites.

While going through my collection of "FUNNY ANIMAL" comics, I realized how many

different titles featured ZIGGY PIG, SILLY SEAL and KRAZY KROW.

Interesting group. Not books that you see very often.
