1933 Toy World Funnies, Golden Eagle version.

 

Overstreet: Rare variation of Funnies on Parade; same format, similar contents, same cover except for large Santa placed in center.

 

 

:applause: What a great book. I didn't even know it existed until now.

Overstreet noting "similar contents" makes me curious to know the difference between Funnies On Parade and the Golden Eagle and Wanamaker versions.

Imagine getting this beautiful Christmas comic from your car dealer...

I thought you had to go to Dearborn for a visit to get one. I visited there in the fifties but don't have a memory of the comics. hm They did have a super model display.
