This time of year, in addition to looking through my comic collection, is when

I'm happy to bring out my MARX TRAIN SET that I received in 1939 and while

the track is a little worn in some spots, still runs...it's the transformers that had

to be replaced over the years.

I remember spotting this on the newsstand rack and thinking how totally

different it looked from all the others.

Green Lama has some really cool covers. :applause:

So true. Anyone ever read this book? I thought of grabbing the DH reprints a few times.

I love Raboy's art but I'm not a big fan of the stories. They have their defenders, though. I remember someone a year or two ago writing about how the GL stories were among their favorites from the GA.

Ran across this one that you don't see too often...I seem to have quite a few

comics with THE KATZENJAMMER KIDS or THE CAPTAIN AND THE KIDS...

they were very popular in those days.

Every year, sometime between Christmas and New Year's, we would visit my

Aunt and Uncle in Philadelphia and I looked forward to being able to get a copy

of the tabloid section from the Philadelphia Sunday Bulletin that contained THE

SPIRIT. I was able to hold onto a half dozen or so copies of this section over

the years.

I see there appears to be some activity on the boards about the Bronze

Age HUNTRESS...went back through my collection to find SENSATION #68

for the introduction of the Golden Age HUNTRESS.

While going through my collection looking for Christmas covers, I ran

across this FOUR COLOR I haven't looked at for a very long time.
