Bosco685
More From Emily Blunt On Speculation That She Will Play CAPTAIN MARVEL ------------------ "It’s funny ‘cause I’m hearing this Captain Marvel thing from a lot of people," Emily Blunt told Collider in a recent interview when asked about the buzz surrounding her and that Marvel Studios role. "I have no official offer, whatsoever. No one’s called. I don’t know where the hell it’s come from, in all honesty. For me, I just think that the part has gotta be awesome. I just want to play great parts, and it’s sometimes hard to find within those big superhero movies. The female parts are not usually great, but recently, they've been better. I don’t know. It has to be the right thing." ------------------ Either she is pulling a Momoa, or fans have just convinced too many interviewers there is a deal. ComicConnoisseur
Marvel wanted to burn Amazing Spider-Man 2 -script After Reading It This is a must read folks. It explains and hints at why Marvel movies are at a higher level. They kind of even take a shot at Spider-Man comics being dull. NewEnglandGothic
Either she is pulling a Momoa, or fans have just convinced too many interviewers there is a deal. From her range of work, I'm betting she stays away from the genre, until she needs it (a couple of bad movies). Granted she was the best thing in Looper and Edge of Tomorrow, but I don't see her doing one of these kinds of movies too soon and by then she might be past a certain "age" that is so appealing to producers. NewEnglandGothic
Marvel wanted to burn Amazing Spider-Man 2 -script After Reading It This is a must read folks. It explains and hints at why Marvel movies are at a higher level. They kind of even take a shot at Spider-Man comics being dull. For me I thought the first 30-40 minutes were pretty good (sans Foxx cribbing Jim Carrey's Riddler), but boy-oh-boy "too many cooks in the kitchen" in the writing departmant. It felt like the movie was being being pulled apart in every direction. Still haven't finished it, but I heard all the spoilers.

Bosco685
No surprise why more actors and actresses are flocking to CBM roles and franchise-based productions. X-MEN's Jennifer Lawrence & GOTG's Chris Pratt Are The Highest-Grossing Actors Of 2014 -------------------- Given the incredible amount of cash generated by The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 and X-Men: Days Of Future Past, nobody should be shocked to learn that Jennifer Lawrence was the highest-grossing actor in Hollywood this year. The ever-popular 24-year-old topped Forbes' list, with both of her biggest 2014 movies collectively pulling in $1.4 billion worldwide. Lawrence might well top next year's list too, as we have the final instalment in the Hunger Games series to look forward to in 2015. In second place was Chris Pratt, who played the lead role in Marvel's surprise hit, Guardians Of The Galaxy. That awesome flick made almost $800 million worldwide, and Pratt had a big The Lego Movie pay-day too. --------------------

Bosco685
Emily Blunt Talks CAPTAIN MARVEL And Reveals Which Two Marvel Roles She Turned Down --------------- Talking to Vulture to promote Into The Woods, Emily Blunt revealed that Black Widow isn't the only role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe she's turned down, as Peggy Carter was also offered to her officially at one point! Her husband (The Office's John Krasinski) was at one point being eyed for the role of Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avenger, so could that be why she turned it down? Nope! "It was never the right time, really," she explains, "and it just didn't work out scheduling-wise with those two. It's always a difficult thing to talk about, because it's not fair to the actresses who ended up playing them, you know? It just wasn't the right time." --------------- Marvel really wants her as part of its universe. Not that I blame Disney/Marvel. She was fantastic into 'Edge of Tomorrow'.
