Not sure if it counts, but I went diving in a local old style record store. He's got random other stuff including old magazines and comics, mostly monster stuff. I picked up a decent copy of Where Monsters Dwell 6 (reprints the first Groot) for $5. It's a solid 6.5.

Dude, you live at Wanda's in Montreal? That's a better story than the Groot!

Stopped by a random estate sale, walked in and immediately saw a box for a Transformer. It was Jetfire and there was a bag with Devastator next to it -- $200 and $75 respectively. Not good. Everything else downstairs was standard fare -- glassware, some furniture, etc.

Upstairs was a slightly different story. The son's room was clearly kept as-is from the 90s. There was a Genesis (someone had poached it already) and a few random toys. Oh, plus his Playboy collection and a few hardcore porn DVDs. Grabbed a couple transformers (no price) and a few GI Joe figures ($3) each. There were a coupleeee Joe vehicles, but incomplete, overpriced and not of interest.

Out in the garage was another mish mash of tools and old toys/board games. Snagged a few additional Transformers (no price), the board game Labirynth and a Kid-corder with tapes (kid themed cassette player).

Walked out with it all for $25. Was a little worried with no price tags given the other prices. My boys are listening to a TMNT cassette story right now.

Ship Wreck, Recondo and Lift Ticket figures. Shockwave (broke, missing head, incomplete), Optimus Prime body + two of the internal vehicles, 1 constructacon, Ultra Magnus body, Rodimus Prime and a broke insecticon. Oh and 1 lego mini fig. No accessories.

Not a great haul, but finding these things in the wild is always fun. I intend to go back tomorrow when they might be flexible on the Jetfire. We will see, not expecting much. It is missing gun, maybe another piece. The foam is in there (one might be damaged). A little discoloration. Stickers spotty. No paperwork. The box is ok, no major issues like tears, but plenty of general wear. What would be a good price? I have a few Jetfire pieces, including the gun. How about for Devastator?

Lots of interest in my above story so I am sure everyone is clamoring for an updtae. So here it is!

Went back and dug some more. Found a few random parts like Primes gun and Shockwaves head. I picked up the Devastator bag (looks mostly complete, I have one, but will likely swap out parts) and the Jetfire. I had the gun and most of the parts, so I can mix and match to make it complete. No paperwork and the stickers are all on the sheet, but pretty much junk. I will see what I can salvage.

Nice Rebel Transport shells covers. One of these days, I need to get me one of those again.

I am swimming in action figures. Nearly 250 DC Direct loose action figures were brought home today...from the very first one onward. Nothing recent, but tons of early and rare sold-out stuff. Looks like my time until Christmas Day is pretty much taken up. lol.

I don't even know where to begin. :)

Peace,

It took a LONG time to get the figures out of the baggies. April, her mother, and Everly are all sick so I had to do double-duty as a mature adult in-between acting like a 12-year-old toy collector. :) Some of the figures got cut off because I had to use the panorama mode on my phone camera just to get them in the first two pics. The third pic is of some of the more expensive ones, and is my first experience with an actual photo photo-bombing a picture. April is actually asleep right now and not whispering sweet nothings into Connor Kent's ear. lol.

Anyway, this is everything...
