Hey Gator,

How would you rank these GA titles based on collectability and value? I'm specifically trying to see where Young Allies and All Winners rank.

Captain America

Marvel Mystery Comics

Young Allies

All Winners

All Select

Submariner

Human Torch

Thanks again.

Young Allies definitely at the bottom. I'd put All Winners (with All Select) below Captain America and Marvel Mystery and above Human Torch and Sub Mariner. Of course it totally depends on the comic. I'd put many of the Human Torch and Sub Mariner War issues above the later All Winners/All Select (and even later Marvel Mystery and Captain America).

Roughly I'd put them

WW II Issues of Captain America

WW II (and pre WW II) issues of Marvel Mystery

WW II issues of All Select

WW II issues of All Winners

Post WW II issues of Captain America

WW II issues of Human Torch

WW II issues of Sub-Mariner

Post WW II issues of Marvel Mystery

Post WW II issues of All Select

Post WW II issues of All Winner

WW II issues of Young Allies

Post WW II issues of Human Torch

Post WW II issues of Sub-Mariner

Post WW II issues of Young Allies.

NB: I'm not G.A.tor.

and I'd put the USA run right up there with the All Selects

With a couple of exceptions, I always figured the reason Young Allies' even sell for what they do, is because they seem cheap compared to other Timelys. It still surprises me that one can pick up a 1st issue/1st appearance Timely with a combo Kirby Red Skull and Hitler cover for as little as YA #1 runs.

Dear Gator:

Who would you think should play the part of Little Dot in an upcoming movie, and will that raise the value of Little Dot comics?

Taylor swift. And sell now!
