Thought I'd revive that thread with a pick-up from C2E2:

This was originally a pencil piece by Steve McNiven entitled "His Father's Lightsaber" that he did for a Star Wars card set. I purchased it from Steve at the first C2E2. He said it was actually rejected, but he liked it better than the one they chose. I had Mark Morales ink a blue line copy in 2012 and then had a great time working with Justin Ponsor at C2E2 2014 to color the inked piece. Here's the final product that I picked up from Justin Saturday night:

Grand Admiral Thrawn by the awesome Tone Rodriguez at the Big Wow con. I'll share some more later. This was also signed by author and Thrawn creator Timothy Zahn.
