Golden Age group shot

Thanks guys. While few of those comics are hard to find, getting runs with the right grade/eye appeal can take a while. There are plenty of low grade EC readers out there, and Gaines copies come up fairly regularly. But nice midgrades can be surprisingly hard to find for some of those issues. My next goal is to finish off the sci-fi runs. I'm about 10 short now.

Finally took some pictures of my aquisitions over the past year, I am missing a few though:

I want to do proper scans of a few of them, especially the Man O' Mars pair!

What comics are in the Blue Circle issues? I am guessing that the covers are the same but not the interiors. hm

Cross-posting from the I'll Pound You to a Pulp thread...

Doing some reorganizing of the pulp collection today. Here's a pulp hero 1st issue/appearance group shot. :)

The Spider #1, Oct 1933, cover by Walter Baumhofer

Doc Savage #1, Mar 1933, cover by Walter Baumhofer

Operator #5 #1, Apr 1934, cover by Jerome Rozen

If anyone can help me find the 1st issues of G-8 and His Battle Aces, The Phantom Detective, or The Shadow, please let me know. :)

I have been working on moving my Golden age books to full backs + super golden aged Mylite 2's and into Magazine toploaders. I decided to take a group shot for your viewing pleasure:
