My FF26 - only an 8.5-9.0 but a nice bright white cover. There are a lot of mustard tinged copies out there. Fantastic Four 44 also seems to be difficult to find with a pristine white cover.

This is a beautiful copy. Often, VF/NM copies like this one look even better to the eye than ones with higher structural grades, but oiled or yellowed cover stock, or covers discolored with sun shadows.

The colors on that copy are still wet. Love it !

I know it's a purple label and all, but I can't believe that book should be that cheap.

The usual stigma around the "Purple label" I guess… My #3 has minor color touch and I love it (already showed)…

It would have gone for higher... I was going to snipe that one, but just plain forgot.

Well, for a FVFN to VF- it was a pretty good price…

i have a little geekfest coming up in the not too distant future, and wouldn't mind having 1-55 available for viewing. of course, the 13 got sent off recently for grading, and might not be back in time, darn it.

I am envious of your Golden Age geekfests as no one collects GA here… with SA/BA Marvels I can always show my comics to italian collectors collecting the italian editions, but the american GA comic book is still a vast, unknown continent for most, here.

BTW, I forgot to post my #5… I would have preferred to have it without a signature on the cover, but the price was good…
