Thanks, I have the run from 104 up with a scattering of some of the earlier issues. Just don't have them all scanned in. Here's two more that are good for the season!

doh! I always thought it was Judge Gallows.

 

Perhaps you are right. After checking Wiki, it seems Destiny's first appearance was Weird Mystery Tales 1 (1972). But I seem to recall the hooded figure on Unexpected to have the shackles around his wrist with the book of Destiny, maybe my memory is failing me... hm

I really don't know for sure but since Gallows was in the Unexpected title, I just assumed it was he.

Yeah, I checked there too. I just don't remember Judge Gallows ever having a hood. Perhaps the hooded figure starting on the cover of Unexpected 115 was just a generic figure at first till they worked him in somewhere. (shrug)

Sadly, I lost my copy of this one. But I remember reading it at a Meijer Thrifty Acres on the rack while waiting for my mother. I found it so creepy I didn't want it. Years later, I remembered it and got a copy.
