Nice copy! Years ago, I deal't with "Pops" and talked to Tina before. Everything went smoothly on a Mister Mystery 12 I purchased from them. I veto getting the book signed as well. You don't want Stan's black sharpie to bleed through the cover. If it was Steve Ditko's sig that would be another story.

 

Why would Lee sign an MM 12?

oh no, I didn't mean that Lee signed the MM 12. I bought that book from Pops and just wanted to mention that the deal went well. But since you bring it up, Lee will sign all kinds of stuff

Great story and agree that I would rather have it sans signature.

 

Also love the thought of holding it for you son. My son just turned 19 and never really cared for Comics or toys both of which I collected forever. I gave him my watch I wore since he was born when he turned 18.
