Oh dear God, there was a "Barbie and Ken" comic book?

That will send anyone screaming back into the arms of the Golden Age.

Someone saw the photo gallery on my website and emailed this pic to me. Looks like most of the books are from August and September, 1962.

The only thing better than a pic of a vintage newsstand, is a pic of a vintage newsstand in color!

Haven't seen this one before:

In addition to the comics in the window, historically fascinating for the signage touting the availability of American comics, biggest selection in East London.

Found here, the twitterer says it's from 1952:

AJD,

my guess is that their selection of comics is simply a stack of back issues that they resell so I wouldn't place a lot of stock on the date for that Crime Patrol.

Other issues that I could quickly identify are:

1) To the left of the Crime Patrol is Dale Evans # 14 ( http://www.comics.org/issue/8511/cover/4/ ), cover dated November - December 1950 and

2) right above the Crime Patrol is a Jungle Comics 133 ( http://www.comics.org/issue/8678/cover/4/ ) , cover dated January 1951.

So, 1952 could very well be true.
